Introduction to Waken International Kindergarten
Waken International Kindergarten (WIK) is established and run by Guangzhou Jingtong Education Investment Co.,Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Guangzhou Tianma Group. Holistic education is provided to 2-6-year-old children to cultivate seekers of knowledge, affirmers of values and changers of the world.
Located on north of Guangzhou City Construction College, covering an area of about 5000 square meters, the kindergarten is equipped with high-quality facilities from top providers to create a healthy, happy, peaceful and friendly learning environment for the children. A group of experienced multinational experts in preschool education works together to maximize the teaching results in small-sized class teaching approach, providing thematic inquiry programs, immersive English, early reading programs both in Chinese and English, steam courses, life skills and social experiential learning programs, aiming to cultivate young global citizens with world views.
International Teacher Employment Information
1. Qualifications
l Native English speaker from Canada, USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand or other English-speaking countries
l Bachelor degree or above,
l 120 hour TEFL/TESOL certificate or two years’ teaching experience proof
l Passion for teaching and experiencing different cultures; willing to engage in early childhood education
l Good health, friendly personality, good interaction with 2-6-year-old kids
l Gifted in arts, music or sports is a bonus
2. Salary
l Salary varies from 15k-20k corresponding to the teacher’s qualification
l Summer and winter holidays are paid at seventy percent (percentage) of normal wages.
(If Party A and Party B renew the contract before July 31, 20**, Party A shall pay the summer salary according to the contract. If Party A and Party B do not renew the contract, Party A shall not pay the summer salary.)
3. Benefits
l Work Visa and Residence Permit: The school will arrange work visa and residence permit for the teacher.
l Bonus: The school will issue a year-end bonus of no less than RMB3000 according to the performance of the foreign teachers upon the completion of the contract.
l Medical Insurance: The school offers insurance package issued by China Life Insurance Company Ltd., with accidental medical treatment policy maximum RMB 600,000.
l Housing Accommodation: The School will provide a furnished apartment with furniture and appliances.
4. Teacher’s Workload
l 30 hours should be delivered to the students every week (except for holidays). There might be other work related to English teaching per week to be delivered to the students and teachers (not belong to overwork). Party B need to work on special occasions on weekends, such as the school open days or any recruitment activities, and Party B shall be given day(s) off later under the circumstances.
