On the afternoon of March 18th, the unveiling ceremony of the Research Center for Sports Industry of Conghua District, which is jointly built by GZCCC and the Administration of Conghua District, was held in the Lecture Hall #1 in GZCCC's Conference Center. Mr. Zhang Zhijian, Director of the Bureau for Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports of Conghua District, Prof. Zhang Deyi, Vice President of GZCCC, Prof. Li Jianjun, Dean of the School of Physical Education and Health, and representatives from other sports colleges and universities, sports enterprises, and member units of the Sports Federation of Conghua District, attended the meeting.

Zhang Deyi said that the college will adhere to demand-oriented and problem-oriented strategy, continuously improving the quality of sports talent cultivation, incubating research results, and providing policy services and decision-making consultation for the development of the sports industry in Conghua District.

The joint construction of the Research Center for Sports Industry of Conghua District by the government and the college will create a four-in-one platform integrating "government, universities, enterprises and media", which is not only an opportunity for the development of sports in GZCCC, but also a contribution to the construction of Guangzhou as a world sports city and Guangdong as a strong sports province.
