On October 12-15, 2019, the 5th China College Students' "Internet+" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held in Zhejiang University, Hangzhou. After the fierce competition from the School Competition, the College Competition, the Provincial Competition to the National Competition, GZCCC’s project “AI Making of Characters – China’s Navigator of Intelligent Making of Characters” won the silver medal of the vocational education track in the national finals. This is the only winner in this track for the "Internet + cultural creative design service", and GZCCC is the only private college among the winning colleges and universities of Guangdong province.

It is reported that 4.57 million college students and 1.09 million teams from 124 countries and regions on five continents have signed up for the 5th China College Students' "Internet+" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. The number of participating projects and students is close to the sum of the previous four competitions.
